To overcome this challenge, THE TOOT boxer briefs employ the new material "SHIDORI®." Conventional washable silks are often protected by resin coating or water-repellent treatment on the silk's surface. While this protects the silk's exterior, the part that touches the skin becomes resin, making its properties no different from synthetic fibers.


"SHIDORI®" does not involve processing the fabric itself. Instead, it focuses on the high-quality proteins inherent in natural silk. By controlling the silk's proteins, it achieves machine-washable strength without compromising the texture or the silk's natural properties.

Beyond the material, meticulous attention to design ensures exceptional comfort. The distinctive shape of the front pouch created by three-dimensional cutting, combined with stretchy material offering excellent recoil for various movements and draping, results in an ultimate wearing experience that captivates the wearer.
