Limited-Time Trunk Show at Eyewear Shop Opticien Loyd
Exclusive Version of New Model "ZEN" Arrives
ayame, the rising domestic eyewear brand, is holding a trunk show at the Harajuku eyewear shop Opticien Loyd until Sunday, October 14th. The new model "ZEN," a Japanese take on the Wayfarer, which quickly became a talking point upon its release this season, is available for order exclusively during this event in a special Opticien Loyd version. This model was crafted with homage to Ray-Ban.

Brand's Signature Models Gather Alongside "ZEN"
The ayame trunk show is being held at Opticien Loyd, an eyewear shop that opened in Harajuku in 1985 and is considered a pioneer among select eyewear stores.

The "ZEN" model, available for special order, is a piece supervised by the former factory manager of the Japanese production facility used when Ray-Ban was still manufactured by Bausch & Lomb. This trunk show exclusively features a version with a matte finish applied only to the outer surface, based on the standard black color.
In addition to the Opticien Loyd exclusive "ZEN," the event showcases the full lineup, including all colors of ayame's signature Wellington-style "NEWOLD" with its distinctive shape, and the rare browline model "STATESMAN," which is slated for discontinuation.
