From its humble beginnings as a small workshop in Northampton, England, Church’s has grown into a benchmark for luxury footwear. The newly announced “Crown Collection” is a special series, produced in limited quantities, that sets itself apart from other lines. This distinction stems from its painstaking manufacturing process. Every stage, from the careful selection of calfskin to the decorative detailing, waxing, and final polishing, is performed by hand by artisans possessing exceptional skill and seasoned expertise.




The five models introduced in this collection are named in homage to British literary giants, celebrating the masterful craftsmanship involved. The “Elliot,” a single-piece vamp Oxford shoe with a slender silhouette and a slightly squared toe, features a smoothly finished upper, blending unconventional style with modern elegance. The “Carol,” also characterized by its squared toe, is a wingtip Oxford shoe, the very epitome of classic men's footwear, offering a refined sophistication that elevates any ensemble.

The “Coleridge,” a straight-tip shoe with double monk straps, is crafted from the finest calfskin and finished with a cloth-polished sheen that takes over 45 minutes to achieve its exquisite luster. The “Wyatt,” also made from premium calfskin, features a double monk strap and a unique wingtip brogue design, complete with a medallion on the toe.

Positioned as slightly more formal, the “Dickens” is a single-piece vamp Oxford shoe with a seamless upper, exuding a clean, minimalist beauty. Its elegance and understated yet distinctive style make it a versatile choice, adaptable to a wide range of looks. This refined simplicity is a testament to the highest level of skill, achievable only by the most accomplished artisans.





The limited-production “Crown Collection,” presented in a premium black box complete with shoe trees and a care kit, is scheduled for release on Saturday, June 18th, at the Church’s Omotesando store.
