HUMPREY: A Modern Last for the 125th Anniversary
Javari.jp Exclusive Model in a Two-Tone Colorway
Introducing a modified version of Cheaney's classic business model, "HUMPREY," by Amazon.co.jp/Javari.jp. Revered as an entry-level brand for British gentleman's shoes, this model retains its classic aesthetic while adopting a contemporary last created to commemorate the brand's 125th anniversary. The combination of canvas and leather offers a novel touch.

Evoke British Style with Autumnal Two-Tone Hues
Cheaney was established in 1886 in Desborough, on the outskirts of Northampton, England, a region renowned for its Goodyear-welted shoe production. The brand has garnered attention as a manufacturer infusing the traditional British footwear industry with entirely new sensibilities and trends. Since 1991, it has been carried by numerous brands and select shops in Japan.
For this collaboration, the "HUMPREY" model—characterized by a subtly rounded toe that aligns with current trends and a slim silhouette for a sleek impression—has been reimagined in a canvas and leather combination featuring autumnal shades of brown x beige and espresso x brown. While appearing as a classic two-tone shoe, the design exudes a smart aesthetic. This pair is versatile, complementing everything from modern British suiting to smart-casual ensembles of blousons and trousers.
