ETON COLLEGE COLLECTION
Shoes named after the prestigious British public school, Eton College.
J.M. Weston's Artistic Director, Michel Perry, was inspired during a train journey to London to conceive the "Eton College Collection," set to launch in late June.

Embodying the spirit of Eton College, the bastion of British gentlemanliness.
"Inspiration arrives without any prior warning," says Michel Perry, Artistic Director of J.M. Weston.
"For instance, on a train to an unknown destination, or even on a daily commute, a single photograph might spark an idea... This morning, en route to London, I dreamt of Eton. To me, this college embodies a quintessentially British charm, preserving the vestiges of aristocratic hierarchy and manners. The quintessential tailcoat that transforms a young man into a concert pianist, the black waistcoat always worn unbuttoned, the starched wing-collar shirt..." he recounts.
"Then, as the train passed beneath the Neo-Gothic arches of St. Pancras Station, I returned to reality. And thus, the Eton College Collection was born."
Furthermore, Michel Perry also reflected on Eugène Blanchard, the founder of J.M. Weston. In the Roaring Twenties, Eugène, captivated by England, frequented Parisian social clubs, impeccably dressed in tweed jackets, starched-collar shirts, and perfect shoes...
The four items in the Eton College Collection feature asymmetrical curves reminiscent of airplane propellers, incorporating traditional techniques from the Limoges workshop and bespoke craftsmanship.
The Eton College Collection is also generating buzz for its art direction by photographer NICOLAS HIDIRO GLOU.
