Last June, Berluti welcomed Alessandro Sartori as Artistic Director and launched its ready-to-wear collection. The house's iconic "Andy Loafer" celebrates its 50th anniversary with the release of six special models.

A Special Patina

Founded in 1895, Berluti is a French brand that captivates shoe aficionados with its designs, blending elegance and originality, and its signature "patina" coloring technique. Since the Autumn/Winter 2012-13 season, the brand has also offered ready-to-wear collections, continuously embarking on new challenges without resting on its established reputation.

Berluti boasts several iconic models, and the "Andy Loafer" has a name origin that is truly remarkable. In 1962, a young Andy Warhol, accompanied by Yves Saint Laurent, visited Berluti's flagship store in Paris. It was there that Madame Olga, the fourth-generation head of the house, designed the "Andy Loafer" for him.

As you know, it has since been cherished as Berluti's signature shoe. In 2012, the "Andy Loafer," celebrating its 50th anniversary, was infused with new life by the new Artistic Director, Alessandro Sartori.

These are the six "Andy Loafers" shown in the photograph on the left. A commemorative model featuring crocodile vamp and a special patina. From left to right: Cashmere, Vermillion, Verde, Classic Navy, Purple, and Flash Blue. The colors are exceptionally vivid and elegant.

All six colors feature a unified blue lining, outsole, and shoe tree. Orders are taken after selecting your preferred color in-store.
