While cherishing its history of being presented to Emperor Showa in 1933, the "GMS-999" was reissued in 2009 with the intention of manufacturing "the exact design of the presentation piece," rather than a "remake," striving to be as close as possible to the original.

The ultra-thin, elegant solid gold frame possesses a moderate weight and a smooth texture, emitting a deep luster unique to 18-karat gold. Furthermore, the delicate lines, crafted with exquisite technique, ensure a light wearing experience.

With its historical background, premium materials, and minimalist design, it exudes a presence that can be called the ultimate classic frame.

Following this lineage, oval frames such as the "GMS-999AC (with front rim attachment)" and "GMS-999A," with updated modern lens sizes, have also been created.
While based on the "GMS-999," these models feature altered lens sizes and shapes. Additionally, to accommodate the width of the temple rims, the temples have been reshaped with a curve starting from the hinge.

At this reissue order event, four models are available for order: "GMS-999," "GMS-999C (with front rim attachment)," "GMS-999A," and "GMS-999AC (with front rim attachment)."
