A Special Collection Featuring Green, Pink, and Blue Lenses
The "LEGEND COLLECTION" features three lens colors—green, pink, and blue—across four of Ray-Ban's iconic models: the "AVIATOR" and "ROUND METAL," along with the newly introduced "METEOR" and "LARAMIE."
The green lenses in the "LEGEND COLLECTION" recreate the lenses developed by Ray-Ban in the 1930s, around the time of its inception. An anecdote tells of a lighter green lens, less dark than the current standard G-15, being officially adopted by the U.S. Army Air Corps. The pink and blue colors, meanwhile, replicate the beautiful glass lenses developed in the 1960s.
The "LEGEND COLLECTION" is a testament to Ray-Ban's enduring commitment to lens innovation since its founding. It is a premium collection that symbolizes Ray-Ban's legacy of creating legends through the ages.
