During the "2015 British Exhibition" held at Isetan Shinjuku from November 3 (Tuesday) to 17 (Tuesday), a one-night-only talk event featuring two guests knowledgeable about English gentlemen will take place on November 4 (Wednesday) at "THE GALLERY by CHALIE VICE" on the 8th floor of the Men's Building. A Special Evening on "The Way of the English Gentleman," Featuring a Secret Guest
At "THE GALLERY by CHALIE VICE" in the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Building, items selected by owner Charlie Vice are displayed. It is a place where those who admire Charlie gather, and special evening gatherings are held where they converse.
This time, guided by Toshiyasu Takubo, President of BLBG and a friend who understands Charlie's sophisticated style and the ways of the English gentleman, a special talk show will be held to discuss the lifestyle and "gentlemanly code" of English gentlemen. With fashion historian Kaori Nakano as a guest, this event is a must-attend for understanding the "way of the English gentleman," covering everything from the principles and etiquette of a true gentleman to stories about venerable British brands.
On the day, a secret guest from London, whom one rarely has the chance to meet, will be present, along with premium London Dry Gin "BEEFEATER24." We invite you to participate in this precious "British Gentleman's Night."

Toshiyasu Takubo
Born in Tokyo in 1966. President of BLBG Co., Ltd. and Globe-Trotter Japan.
He operates "VULCANIZE London," an arcade shop featuring luxury British brands favored by the Royal Family, such as Globe-Trotter, Smythson, Fox Umbrellas, and Hackett London, with seven stores nationwide. He is also a self-proclaimed Anglophile and a James Bond aficionado. His book, "25 Maxims of the "Real Man" James Bond" (Kodansha), is also notable.
Kaori Nakano
Essayist / Fashion Historian / Specially Appointed Professor at Meiji University. She researches, writes, and lectures from a broad perspective, covering everything from the fashion history of men and women over the past 2,000 years to the latest fashion trends. After completing her doctoral coursework at the University of Tokyo Graduate School and serving as a visiting researcher at the University of Cambridge, she became a writer and, since 2008, a specially appointed professor at Meiji University's School of Global Japanese Studies. Her books include "Mode, Eros, and Capital" (Shueisha Shinsho), "The Genealogy of Dandyism: Men Admired by Men" (Shincho Sensho), "Fashion to Be Loved" (Chuo Koron Shinsha), and "A Cultural History of the Suit" (Kindle edition of "The Myth of the Suit" by Bunshun Shinsho), among many others.
