Ginza Mitsukoshi 5F "Men's Apparel Floor" Reopens After Remodeling

Ginza Mitsukoshi celebrated its grand reopening on October 14th, aiming to become a "cutting-edge global department store." Prior to this, the 5th-floor men's apparel and accessories floor completed its remodel on October 7th. A Remodel to Showcase the Latest from Tokyo and the World

Ginza Mitsukoshi's men's apparel and accessories floors (5th and 6th) embrace the concept of "GINZA Gentleman," proposing sophisticated wardrobes for both private and active professional lives, catering to men who seek authenticity and substance.

"GINZA Closet," offering the essence of Ginza style, is a new business editing shop where stylists (sales associates) help customers discover their desired style and co-create it. It features brands such as Franco Prinzivalli (suits), Finamore (shirts), and Franco Bassi (ties).

As a service unique to Ginza, a city renowned for tailoring, the "GINZA Dress Up Salon" goes beyond mere size adjustments to offer total coordination proposals. It's a novel salon concept integrating made-to-measure suits, custom shirts, and formal wear.

It offers styles categorized not only by country, such as British, Classico Italiano, and American Traditional, but also by Japanese and foreign tailors. This allows for styles tailored to individual personalities, offering the true pleasure of suit creation.

Esteemed Tailors from East and West Compete in Style and Craftsmanship

The "GINZA Dress Up Salon" showcases a lineup of tailors including "Lid Tailor," offering suits rooted in British universality; "NH Sartoria," embodying refined, orthodox Milanese style; "Hideaki Sato," characterized by Italian-style rounded forms with a full chest and shaped waist; and "Tailor Kade," featuring classic American Traditional style from a bygone era.

Additionally, the popular "GINZA Shoes Atelier" at Ginza Mitsukoshi now features a permanent corner for custom-colored leather shoes. Five Japanese brands, known for their expressive hand-dyeing techniques, allow for free combination of five colors – "Red," "Blue," "Gray," "Yellow," and "Green" – each reflecting their unique sensibilities.

The "GINZA Gentleman's Lounge" has been introduced as a gathering place for sophisticated men, blending "things" like writing instruments, cameras, smoking accessories, and cigars with "experiences" such as a barber, shoe shine service, and promotional event spaces.

To commemorate the remodel, the 5th floor is hosting a promotion titled "Refresh time for GENTLEMAN" until October 20th (Tuesday). This collaboration between loungewear brand "RIDING HIGH" and room fragrance "LOOM" offers a way to escape from the demands of professional life.

6F Remodel Completed on October 14th

The 6th floor, featuring "Men's Apparel, Accessories, and Eyewear," is themed "Private Style – The Aesthetics of a Sophisticated Man's Personal Time." It proposes a lifestyle imbued with "lustre" for men who wish to dress and live authentically during their "celebratory" or "restful" private moments. To mark the remodel, a "Weekend Life Style Shop" curated by JOSEPH HOMME is being held until October 20th (Tuesday).
