The Autumn/Winter 2015-16 collection is characterized by its compact sizing, utilizing classic colors like grey and camel as mainstays. Jackets are sharper while maintaining comfort, and trousers feature a relaxed tapered silhouette, creating a new sense of balance.
Furthermore, the basic color palette is enhanced with accent colors such as orange and blue, evoking the subtle elegance enjoyed by Milanese bourgeoisie in the 60s and 70s. The collection is rich with items that allow for both refined and relaxed styling in both dress and casual wear.

A New Creative Director Appointed
—BOGLIOLI Tokyo has opened. What role will this store play?
We are very honored to be able to open our first flagship store in Japan. Japan shares a similar sensibility in fashion and culture with Milan, making the Tokyo store, where we can present products that embody the brand's worldview and philosophy, a crucial showcase.
—What do you consider to be the appeal of the Tokyo store, Mr. Manucci?
First, the location in Marunouchi. I also particularly like that it's a corner site. We selected Marunouchi from several candidate locations, taking into account marketing advice from our Japanese business partners. The primary objective was not to target tourists, but to deepen our connection with Japanese customers.
We also commissioned the same architect as our Milan flagship to create a similar atmosphere.
As this is our first flagship store in Japan, we aimed to create a space where our valued Japanese customers can comfortably experience the brand world that BOGLIOLI offers.
—What is the design concept for BOGLIOLI Tokyo?
BOGLIOLI is already a recognized brand in Japan. Therefore, rather than a design that is accessible to everyone, we designed it with the premise that customers who visit will have a more private shopping experience. We hope they will enjoy the special atmosphere unique to a flagship store, allowing for calm and attentive service.
—Do you plan to release limited-edition items for the flagship store in the future?
We consider the Japanese market to be unique and important. In terms of offering special services exclusive to our flagship store, we intend to consider introducingJapan-Exclusive Special Itemsseasonally. Furthermore, we hope to introduce casual wardrobe items in addition to BOGLIOLI's signature suits and jackets, so that younger generations can also become familiar with the brand.
—Please tell us about BOGLIOLI's direction in the near future.
BOGLIOLI has always prioritized quality over design. This will not change, but we aim to add creativity to the craftsmanship and traditional manufacturing we have cultivated. We intend to grow into a brand that creates new value within a classic worldview. For example, just as BOGLIOLI created a new category with the "unconstructed jacket" when structured tailoring was the norm.
As a key figure in this transformation, we have decided to bring in a new Creative Director. This individual will be responsible for the core of the BOGLIOLI brand, not only specializing in design but also overseeing all aspects of BOGLIOLI, including collaboration with management, advertising visuals, marketing, retail, merchandising, and more. While this will officially begin with the next collection, we plan to announce the appointment to everyone in October.
