This Year, With Two New Colors, It's Available in Six Colors Total. Don't Miss the Capsule Collection!
The "Arctic Parka," a renowned piece developed in 1972 for pipeline construction in the frigid Alaskan wilderness, capable of withstanding temperatures of minus 40°C, gained popularity and has since been cherished by outdoorsmen across America.
It made a comeback last year and was a huge hit in Italy. Men favored styling it with jackets; the sight of this historic masterpiece layered over suits or jacket-and-trouser combinations was common in Milan, Rome, and Florence.
The "New Arctic Parka Short," versatile for both on and off-duty wear and featuring a perfect fit for Japanese physiques, continues to receive overwhelming support from discerning buyers this season, available in a total of six colors. The style of pairing a jacket with the Arctic Parka is set to create a major sensation in Japan as well.

"B.A.E.III (Byrd Antarctic Expedition) Collection"
Furthermore, the noteworthy capsule collection, the "B.A.E.III (Byrd Antarctic Expedition) Collection," is inspired by the gear used by the Antarctic expedition led by U.S. Navy Rear Admiral Byrd (1939-1941), which achieved the first-ever aerial flight over the North Pole.
This stems from Woolrich's role as an official supplier, commissioned by the U.S. government to provide wool products at the time. The parka blouson, made from Ventile cotton, features stitching with color-faded yarn to create a sun-bleached vintage effect, offering a collection that ignites the spirit of adventure.
Brand History
Woolrich, America's most historic outdoor brand, celebrated its 180th anniversary last year. It began when John Rich II, a British immigrant, established America's first woolen mill in Plum Run, Pennsylvania. Initially, he sold fabrics from a horse-drawn wagon, traveling between campsites. Eventually, he developed his own products, such as socks and blankets, gradually gaining renown.
During the Civil War, the company manufactured blankets for the Union Army and subsequently introduced many new products, including hunting jackets and pants. World War II brought immense demand to Woolrich's factories, solidifying its reputation in American society as "the most reliable company capable of integrated production from raw materials (wool) to finished goods."
The iconic red-and-black buffalo check, synonymous with American casual style, was developed by Woolrich to prevent accidental shootings among hunters and remains a beloved brand icon to this day.
