The World of the "Palm Angels" Photo Book

The brand name "Palm Angels" is a collective term for the ideas of its creator, Francesco Ragazzi, an endeavor to clearly convey the authentic spirit of California's skate scene.

The project's primary inspiration stems from the unique atmosphere and habits of the people inhabiting Venice Beach and Manhattan Beach in Los Angeles, a vision captured in Ragazzi's photo book, "Palm Angels," published last September.

This photobook, focusing on skaters from Venice and Manhattan Beach, is highly regarded as the definitive portrayal of the L.A. skateboarding scene, capturing the style and street culture of one of the world's most prominent skater communities.

Furthermore, Pharrell Williams, a representative figure of the community, penned the preface to the photobook, articulating the skaters' worldview and unique culture.

Also Held at Colette in Paris and Selfridges in London

Palm Angels reinterprets the imagery of the photobook in a novel way, expressing it through an iconic clothing collection.

Globally, pop-up shops have been held at establishments like Colette in Paris and Selfridges in London. In Japan, the collection will make its debut at Dover Street Market Ginza, Estnation Roppongi Hills, and United Arrows & Sons.
