A Denim Brand Noted for Collaboration Work
BLAAK was founded in London in 1998 by designers Aaron Sharif and Sachiko Okada while they were students at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. The brand is known for its boundary-pushing approach and diverse collaborations, garnering significant attention.
While highly regarded for its traditional British tailoring and exceptional cutting techniques, recent collections have seen an attempt to deconstruct these very elements. By mixing contrasting themes in each collection, BLAAK crafts a unique worldview.
A Jeans Collection by Aaron Sharif
This pop-up shop will feature a jeans collection by Aaron Sharif, who, in addition to being a fashion designer, is also well-versed in crystal healing, astrology, numerology, and Reiki.
Lapis lazuli studs on the inside waistband of the jeans balance the body's electromagnetic (aura) field, expressing design while ensuring effective function.
Furthermore, the prints on the pockets are designed to retain and protect the wearer's energy (prana energy), utilizing a titania matrix that imbues the garments with inner power.
Born from a desire to integrate crystal healing into the wearer's daily life through clothing, this minimalist collection, developed over approximately two years, merges Sharif's accumulated knowledge with fashion and is a noteworthy creation.
