HERNO, a leading Italian outerwear brand. On September 2nd (Wednesday), its first men's-only shop in Japan, 'Hankyu Men's Osaka Herno,' opened on the 3rd floor of Hankyu Men's Osaka. The store offers a rich lineup of items, including down coats in exclusive colors available only at this location.

Down Jackets: The Epitome of Modern Luxury
Founded in Italy in 1948, Herno began as a raincoat manufacturer. Today, it is highly popular as a brand offering a diverse range of coats, primarily focusing on down outerwear. Its hallmark lies in modern designs utilizing the latest high-performance materials, conveying a sincere dedication to craftsmanship with every wear. At 'Hankyu Men's Osaka Herno,' opening in September, the display will adopt the brand's iconic 'hanging' style, similar to the flagship store in Aoyama and the Milan store.
The leather belts for hanging represent the brand's 'tradition,' while the stainless steel hooks signify contemporary 'modernity.' Combining these with natural material items symbolizes Herno's identity.
Furthermore, Hankyu Men's Tokyo will open its first limited-time men's pop-up shop starting in mid-August. To commemorate the openings of Hankyu Men's Osaka Herno and the pop-up shop, a down coat from the 'Laminar' series, featuring GORE-TEX and a 3-way specification in an exclusive Hankyu Men's color (brown), will be released.

Herno Daimaru Kyoto Store Reopens After Renovation
In early September, the Herno concept shop on the 2nd floor of Daimaru Kyoto Store will reopen after renovation. This will be the fourth concept shop in Japan, following those in Aoyama, Matsuzakaya Nagoya, and Hankyu Umeda Main Store. It will feature both women's and men's collections.
To commemorate the renovation and reopening, a limited-edition coat in a Daimaru Matsuzakaya exclusive color will be released, characterized by a combination of curling wool material and nylon.
Anticipation is high for the lineup of 'evolved outerwear' born from the fusion of traditional, high-quality tailoring and high-tech materials.
