A Glasses Case That's More Fun and Makes You Feel Happy Just By Holding It

ANTIPAST is a design unit founded by Junko Jinushi and Kyoko Kato, who leverage their experience as textile designers in print, dyeing, and weaving. In 2006, they received the Kagehisa Amako Award at the Mainichi Fashion Grand Prix. They currently hold exhibitions in Paris, Milan, and Tokyo twice a year.

For this collaboration, the duo, who are also eyewear enthusiasts, were asked by Continuer to create a glasses case that not only protects eyewear but also "makes you feel more fun and happy just by holding it." The result is a special order that has now been completed.

The "ANTIPAST for Continuer" bespoke glasses cases utilize ANTIPAST fabrics and come in two types: soft cases with a fluffy, gentle texture, and hard cases that firmly protect glasses from strong impacts. With over 30 variations, including stylish stripes, borders, and argyle patterns, as well as popular floral, polka dot, star, and leopard prints for women, both soft and hard cases are accented with sheep leather for an added touch of elegance. The tactile quality upon handling has also been meticulously considered.

This item truly embodies the spirit of ANTIPAST, which stands for "ANTI-PAST" – "not the past" – and is known for its originality in creating items for enjoying free styling and coordination with an eye toward the future.
