“Warmth You Can See, with Elegant Smoky Tones”

Located on a side street just off the main thoroughfare of Ginza, ÉLIOPHOLE Ginza occupies a compact space. It's a joint store with the women's ÉLIOPHOLE, making it a pleasant spot for couples to shop. "While the men's section is small, we carefully select items that can be enjoyed daily, from business wear to casual pieces and accessories," says staff member Yusuke Miura.

Selected for This Season's Palette, from the "Man's Walk-in Closet"

Yusuke Miura, 29, with five years of sales experience, chose a suit from CARUSO, a brand that forms the core of ÉLIOPHOLE HOMME's dress clothing. "At ÉLIOPHOLE Ginza, we offer products sourced primarily from Italy, France, and the UK. Caruso, which I've chosen today, is a factory brand based in Parma, producing everything from fabric to finished garments in their own facilities. Their authentic craftsmanship is matched by accessible pricing. This season, we've focused on selecting items with superior fabrics, which results in beautiful draping and a more refined look when worn," Miura explains.

The hallmark of Caruso suits is their minimalist styling, embodying an "aesthetics of restraint." For Warm Biz, ÉLIOPHOLE HOMME proposes coordination with a characteristic French flair in its color palette.

"Based on the blue-grey of the suit, I've deliberately layered a white knit underneath to make the blue-grey hue stand out sharply. Pairing a woolen suit with a knit and a wool tie creates a visually warm impression. This is a Warm Biz look that also resonates with this season's keyword, smoky tones."

ÉLIOPHOLE Ginza embodies the concept of a "man's walk-in closet," as championed by ÉLIOPHOLE HOMME, through its European imports and original items. In addition to Caruso, the shop stocks well-regarded brands such as Mackintosh, Orian, Le Tricot de la Mer, Barbour, GTR, PT01, and the denim brand Betwoin.

"Since we're a little away from the center of Ginza, we have many regular customers, and they seek out sophisticated fashion, so I'm also influenced by them. Recently, even classic items in menswear, like Barbour's BEWICK, have become popular in their modern, re-sized versions. More customers are trying them on, feeling the difference in comfort, and then making a purchase," says Miura.

When magazines feature Jean Cocteau, he finds himself engrossed. "Cocteau's masterful use of understated elements and his subtle color palettes are so elegantly composed; I reference them as an example of the style ÉLIOPHOLE aims for," he shares.
