BOGLIOLI’s Cutting-Edge Men’s Style
At times, crumpled jackets are casually draped over walls. At others, avant-garde styles are presented on simulated torsos or hangers crafted from geometrically bent wires. Pitti Immagine Uomo, the world’s most significant menswear fair, is where top international firms launch their collections. Held annually in Florence, with editions in January and June, the BOGLIOLI stand consistently captures attention. It is a highlight within the Future Masculin area, showcasing established labels that define the next generation of classic menswear. The presentation is as sophisticated and distinctive as a high-fashion exhibition, reflecting BOGLIOLI’s century-long tradition and its present-day vision.

K.JACKET, HAMPTON, DOVER, and WIGHT are BOGLIOLI staples, each deeply appreciated by fashion connoisseurs. This phenomenon is unique in the fashion world. The DOVER, a soft jacket with a center vent and three patch pockets, introduced in 2008, quickly became the uniform for dandies globally. The resurgence of the classic look's popularity was unexpected, and BOGLIOLI stands out as a brand that consistently draws inspiration from principles beyond the fleeting trends of the fashion industry.
The cashmere jacket, boldly treated with an innovative dyeing technique known as “tinto in capo,” astonished fashion houses worldwide. Its unconstructed form, achieved with canvas only and no shoulder padding, defied the conventions of formal wear at a time when such styles were not mainstream. Today, it has become an unparalleled standard that many other brands emulate. As one journalist remarked, “If BOGLIOLI didn’t exist, the classical look might have faded away in the 20th century.”
Prior to this season, BOGLIOLI introduced its new “total fashion” concept. The latest collection, featuring distinctive jacket styles, harmoniously blends classic and modern aesthetics—two realms long considered separate. Is it formal wear? The answer is no. Sporty casual? Incorrect again. It represents an innovation built upon an entirely new standard. The collaboration between designer Pier Luigi Boglioli, whose family roots trace back to Sartoria Boglioli, a small workshop in Northern Italy founded in the 19th century, and Roberto Falchi, CEO of BOGLIOLI and formerly of Christian Dior and Prada, is rapidly propelling BOGLIOLI towards becoming an exclusive luxury brand.
Interview with Yuichiro Hara from ESTNATION
“BOGLIOLI possesses the foresight to keep pace with the zeitgeist and forge new trends.
During the early phase of the classic revival, BOGLIOLI boldly experimented with tailoring jackets, a feat no other traditional fashion house dared to attempt. ESTNATION offers a curated selection of both classic and modern pieces, and BOGLIOLI is highly valued by our discerning customers. The choice of colors and patterns is somewhat eccentric compared to other labels. BOGLIOLI is an essential brand for the contemporary individual seeking to balance innovation with tradition.”
