Charity Auction for Limited Edition Chairs Begins!
Bally, celebrating its 160th anniversary, has unveiled a special collaboration chair with Herman Miller. A charity auction is being held on OPENERS until Tuesday, September 6th.

Bally, a brand that continues to evolve its craftsmanship, honed over 160 years of history, into a cleaner, more modern form suited to contemporary lifestyles. For its 160th anniversary, Bally has collaborated with Herman Miller.
Herman Miller is an American company specializing in contemporary furniture for both home and office, guided by the philosophy of "design that solves problems." A representative item from their collection is the timeless masterpiece, the Eames Shell Chair, by Charles & Ray Eames.
First introduced at the Low-Cost Furniture Design International Competition held by the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 1948, the Eames Shell Chair was put into production and sold by Herman Miller in 1950. Since then, it has been loved worldwide for its comfort and modern aesthetic in various settings.
For this special collaboration, the Eames Shell Chair has been reimagined with Bally's iconic red and white stripes, with only 16 limited edition pieces produced to commemorate the brand's 160th anniversary. A charity auction is being held on OPENERS. Bidding opens at noon on Wednesday, August 10th, and closes at noon on Tuesday, September 6th, with the highest bidder acquiring the chair. All proceeds from this auction will be donated to the NPO more Trees to support nature conservation.

How to Participate in the BALLY x Herman Miller Charity Chair Project

Bidding Procedure
1.Please proceed to the bidding screen via the red banner "Charity Auction Bidding Screen" located below this section.
2.After the bidding closes on Tuesday, September 6th, successful bidders will be notified via email regarding their win and confirmation of purchase intent.
3.Subsequently, Bally Japan will provide details on the winning bid amount, consumption tax, and shipping costs. Payment must be made to the designated account within seven days of receiving this information. Shipping costs will be charged on delivery. (Please refer to the "Bally Special Chair Charity Auction Terms and Conditions" within the bidding screen for further details.)
4.Upon confirmation of payment, guests attending the party in early October will receive an invitation, while those unable to attend will have their chairs shipped within three business days.
5.Attendees of the party will enjoy the live performance seated in their winning chairs. The chairs will be delivered immediately after the performance.
Bids can be placed multiple times per person, but each bid counts as one chair.
To cancel a bid, please contact bally@openers.jp with your confirmation number, which will be sent via email after placing your bid.
Please note that cancellations cannot be accepted after purchase intent has been confirmed.
Bids are limited to residents of Japan.
Resale of acquired chairs is prohibited.

Hironobu Saito
Guitarist. Born in Miyazaki Prefecture. After graduating from university, he moved to the United States in 1999 on a scholarship to Berklee College of Music (Boston). In 2004, he made his CD debut as the first Japanese artist on the Spanish label Fresh Sound Records. He has released four albums and two singles to date. In September 2009, he performed with his quartet at the Monterey Jazz Festival, one of the world's three major jazz festivals. His latest album, "Reflection," explores a new genre of island jazz, featuring his work on the ukulele. In 2011, he was selected as Best New Artist at the 23rd Music Pen Club Japan Music Awards. He is currently based in New York, performing across Europe, North and Central America, Hawaii, Asia, and Japan.
