This season, white and brown tones are used extensively over a black base.


The latest collection expresses the atmosphere of a "misty forest."


"We began presenting our collections at Paris Men's Fashion Week this season. For this occasion, we conducted a look shoot throughout Paris to allow people to experience that atmosphere," says designer Hisashi Fukatami. The Parisian ambiance merges with the collection's theme.

A Theme Felt Through Materials



—What is the theme/concept for the 2014-15 Autumn/Winter collection?

This season's theme is "Forest of Fog." We express the atmosphere of the collection's theme, "Forest of Fog," using original materials with various techniques applied to create unique textures, the all-over print fabric titled "silent forest," and the patterns and knits.

—What are the differences in styling, silhouette, and color compared to last year's Autumn/Winter collection?

I believe the biggest difference from last year's Autumn/Winter collection is the key color. While last year's Autumn/Winter had a vibrant red as the key color, this season's Autumn/Winter, conscious of the "Forest of Fog" theme, uses black as a base with extensive use of white and brown tones.

—What is this season's key look (coordination)?

The knitwear in the top left photo has its jacquard knit pattern areas individually brushed. The pants feature a white-based knit denim with a three-dimensional black foil treatment. The entire coordination expresses the atmosphere of "Forest of Fog."

—What are the key items and key colors?

The knitwear and pants worn in the top right coordination are the key items. The knit is an oversized silhouette using high-quality alpaca wool, and the pants are slim-fit silhouette pants using an original all-over print fabric titled "silent forest."

—What "materials" did you focus on this season?

It's the original wool/linen herringbone material used in the coat (top right photo). It's a uniquely textured fabric with a special weave.
