Clothing of “Freedom and Eternity” for Men and Women

The 2014-15 Autumn/Winter collection of the collaborative line “BEAMS LIGHTS with MIC*ITAYA,” for which artist MIC*ITAYA plans and supervises the textiles and overall design, is themed “Sunshine Blue.” It expresses “the light and color of the sun reflecting on the sea and sky,” “journeys in memory,” and “journeys in records” for both men and women.

Wanting to Wear with an Understanding of the Items' Meaning

True to the clothing designed by MIC*ITAYA, for example, the MENS RIDERS COAT carries the message: “Whether in the countryside or the city, if you go on a journey, make a friend. Continue the journey with white doves flying through dawn and dusk, day and night. Walk and run with boldness and delicacy, with careful, innocent joy.”

Regarding the collection, MIC*ITAYA states: “A man walks on a hill of ancient ruins where even bicycles are prohibited, under a sun that shines brightly but emits weak heat. A woman spends her transit time on a night flight south in a moonlit lounge. The man enjoys a secret tea break on the grass overlooking the sea. Looking up, contrails stretch across the sky. A journey is an event between contrasts. Sun and moon, sea and sky, ancient and modern, memory and record, man and woman.”

This season also features denim pants from “BEAMS LIGHTS with MIC*ITAYA×FULLCOUNT,” born from a collaboration with the jeans brand “FULLCOUNT.” We want to wear these “midnight blue denim pants for traveling the world elegantly and casually” and journey to worlds yet unseen.
