Karl Lagerfeld Himself Takes the Photos
Artistic Director Karl Lagerfeld has chosen Adut Akech, a model from South Sudan, as the face of the CHANEL 2018/19 Pre-Fall collection. She also appeared in the finale of the 2018/19 Autumn/Winter Haute Couture collection show, presented at the Grand Palais on July 3, 2018.
Against a simple monochrome backdrop, Karl Lagerfeld himself shot the images for the lookbook.
This collection features a sporty-chic look: a long ecru tweed jacket trimmed with red and blue braid, paired with a wide-ribbed knit skirt.
Other looks include chevron-motif coats and skirts in lambskin leather, as well as shiny calfskin long tube skirts.
The 2018/19 Pre-Fall collection is currently available at CHANEL boutiques nationwide.
