Energetic Floral Motifs Capture the Eye

Stella McCartney's Spring 2016 Collectioninterprets masculinity and femininity in a modern form. The collection features linear silhouettes in dresses, tailored suits, and Duchess bomber jackets, adorned with wildflower embroidery to create a spring-like, botanical presence. Delicate fil coupé pieces in flamingo, black, and ivory are embellished with running horses in a monochrome palette. Additionally, airy, lightweight, rippling parachute slip dresses appear as evening wear.

This collection, expressing the energy born from a playful interplay of volume and color, was celebrated with a presentation party evoking a cheerful Cuban mood. Many celebrities, including model Miranda Kerr, Alexa Chung, and Cara Delevingne, and singer Alicia Keys, joined the festivities at the Manhattan garden venue, imbued with a spring atmosphere. The event was further enlivened by a live musical performance and a still life artist appearing in a clown costume.
