Introducing the New Series: Frozen Floral

With the completion of our studio in Yanaka, we are finally able to release our new series, "Frozen Floral."

A Glimpse of Baroque Within

From above, the motif appears simple, but a closer look at the interior and reverse reveals intricate handcraftsmanship, resulting in a remarkably modern finish.

The inspiration comes from the colors and textures of the clothing worn by King Ludwig II of Bavaria, the protagonist in Luchino Visconti's film "Ludwig." The sophisticated, smoky color palette feels refreshingly aristocratic.

The surface of the motif is coated with epoxy, allowing the "ice-like petal patterns" within to show through, hence the name "Frozen Floral."

The epoxy surface itself has been polished in a three-dimensional manner; technically, this piece incorporates the maximum skill I currently possess.
