The small, simple joys found in pouring sake.
Hasami Town in Nagasaki Prefecture is known as one of Japan's leading ceramic production areas. What kind of sake vessels has "zen to," the original brand from Nakazeni, a long-established kiln with over 100 years of history in this town, released after their popular curry plates?

"zen to" is a brand proposed by a long-established kiln in Hasami Town, Nagasaki Prefecture, aiming for new traditions and creativity. Since its launch in 2020, it has released various curry plates, with supervision from influential figures in different fields.
This summer, we turn our attention to the sake vessels released by zen to. The latest collection features Paricco, known for his work as a bar writer and illustrator, as supervisor. These vessels are imbued with his deep affection, humor, and respect for the culture of everyday drinking.
Viewed from one side, it resembles a canned chu-hai; from the other, a cup of sake. This unique design, "#mixcup," is an homage to familiar products yet stands alone. The beauty of its gently transitioning boundary, complemented by the subtle variations in glaze, is truly captivating.
As the season progresses, the ceramic material ensures drinks stay refreshingly cold and the rim feels pleasant against the lips. Why not savor a small moment of happiness with "#mixcup" during your evening drinks? Available from June 10th (Friday), with pre-orders now open.
