Blast-finished stainless steel blade reduces corrosion

Nicetime Mountain Gallery, an outdoor select shop in Hatagaya, Tokyo. A compact S size has been added to the original product "NMG 001 Nata," developed with designer Wataru Kumano and released in 2021.

The "NMG 001 Nata" is known for its comfortable feel and beautiful, minimalist form. The S size features a blade that is slightly smaller than the conventional model, making it ideal for finer work and portability.
The grip, as before, is made of silicone rubber for a comfortable feel and shock absorption when splitting firewood. The interior of the grip has been lightened, and the surface features special processing to improve grip, showcasing the designer's skill in every detail.
The double-edged blade was jointly developed with Minogawa Noki Manufacturing in Sanjo City, Niigata Prefecture. Using 6mm stainless steel and designing it with the center of gravity towards the tip results in a size that is easy for women to use. The included case is made of LWG-certified leather, which has passed rigorous inspections.
