Three Custom-Built Club Heads in the Lineup
The PXG 0311 GEN3 Irons, hailed as the best in PXG history, have arrived.
Forged from 8620 carbon steel, considered relatively soft, the new irons are enhanced through a five-step forging process. This process is designed to prolong the grooves on the face, extend the lifespan of the club head, and imbue the club with a distinguished appearance that deepens with use.
Furthermore, CNC milling is employed to achieve an exceptionally smooth finish on the iron heads, resulting in a thinner, higher-performance design that cannot be achieved through forging alone.
Most notably, the irons feature the patented Extreme Dualcore System, signifying a dual-layer structure. By incorporating a two-layer polymer within the hollow cavity of the irons, it dampens vibration without dissipating the ball's energy. This, combined with the thin, high-performance steel face, allows for significant face flex, thereby increasing ball speed and distance.
The PXG 0311 GEN3 Irons released this time come in three variations: the 'Tour,' engineered for advanced players with maximum workability and distance; the 'Player,' a versatile option for mid-to-advanced players balancing distance, ease of use, and control; and the 'Extreme Performance,' designed for beginners and intermediate players seeking enhanced distance and forgiveness.
