Elevating Excellence: A Designer's Vision for Superior Eyewear
Ikuya Enomoto, a designer with extensive experience crafting approximately 3,000 eyewear models for brands both in Japan and abroad, launched his own label, "I.ENOMOTO," in 2017 with the concept of "MODE AND CRAFT." This season, he revisits the aviator style from his debut collection, refining it further to offer enhanced comfort and wearability.

The "aviator" is a familiar term in eyewear, referring to a style born for pilots who needed to easily put on and remove oxygen masks. Designed for demanding conditions, its characteristic feature is an often over-engineered construction.
Enomoto stripped away the superfluous elements, transforming the design with his own sculptural sensibility to release the "IE003" in 2017.
Five years after its release, the front design remains unchanged, but subtle modifications have been made to the screws on the inner side of the front (which secure the lenses) and the connection point between the front and the temples. This has given birth to the new model, "IE013."
Considering aging and comfort, Enomoto's relentless pursuit of perfection is evident in every detail. We encourage you to try them on in-store and experience the designer's craftsmanship firsthand.
