In response to the increased demand for masks due to the novel coronavirus, COX, an apparel specialty store within the AEON Group, has launched pre-orders for its washable cloth mask, the "Yawa Mask," on its official online store and Rakuten Ichiba shop.

Crafted from 100% cotton, the mask is gentle on the skin, highly absorbent, and breathable. This prevents the interior from becoming stuffy due to moisture from breath, maintaining a comfortable level of humidity. The fiber ends are rounded, resulting in a soft finish. It also minimizes static electricity and reduces skin irritation. The design features a raised nose bridge for a snug fit.

While not designed to prevent viral infections, the mask was initially created for throat hydration and protection against pollen and dust. Nevertheless, it is expected to offer some benefit, such as preventing droplet dispersal, compared to not wearing a mask at all.

Available in white and black, the masks are unisex. This product is offered as a single item or in a set of three.
