A Sauna Hat That Can Withstand Ryusenji no Yu's "Buzzaro Sauna"
Ryusenji no Yu, which opened in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture in 1989 and is known as the birthplace of "Super Sento" (public bathhouses). For this facility, the creative consulting firm "LOWERCASE" and sports apparel brand "ONEHUNDRED ATHLETIC" have teamed up to develop sauna goods. They will be released on the official Ryusenji no Yu website from January 12, 2022.

LOWERCASE and ONEHUNDRED ATHLETIC are collaborating to release products that leverage their respective strengths and make a statement in the current sauna boom.
The "LC x 100A SAUNA HAT" uses sashiko fabric from Mikawa Momen, which is known for its excellent moisture retention, absorbency, and pleasant texture. To protect hair from the high heat of the sauna, the sashiko fabric is double-layered, which is said to improve heat resistance.
Production was handled by Tanei, a manufacturer with a long history in martial arts uniforms. The front of the hat features an embroidered collaborative logo of LOWERCASE and ONEHUNDRED ATHLETIC, while the back includes a hanger loop.
Being 100% cotton, it is also machine washable at home, making maintenance easy. In addition to the sauna hat, "dry t-shirts" and "dry buggy pants" are also scheduled for release. These are also worth paying attention to.
