Lyngby Porcelæn
Simple Yet Highly Practical, Nine Stoneware Pieces
The Danish design duo "Stillleben," known for their work with prominent Danish brands like Georg Jensen and Kähler, as well as their own extensive product lines, has reimagined pieces from the archives of Danish brand "Lyngby Porcelæn." These redesigned items are now set to be released in Japan.

Danish brand "Lyngby Porcelæn" began in 1936. Influenced heavily by the German Bauhaus movement, a rarity at the time, they proposed designs that embraced simplicity and functionality.
Although the factory temporarily closed, production resumed in 2012. Currently, they offer items that blend traditional craftsmanship with advanced production techniques.
The "Dan Ild" series, originally created in the late 1950s, has now reappeared with a contemporary aesthetic. The redesign was handled by the design duo "Stillleben," comprised of Ditte Reckweg and Jelena Nordentoft.
The collection includes nine items: oven dishes (in three sizes), bowls (in four sizes), a serving dish, and a sauce boat. These pieces feature the rustic charm of stoneware combined with playful, clear blue accents. All items except the serving dish are microwave and oven safe. Sales are scheduled to begin in mid-January 2022.
