The "BLUE PROJECT" transforms PET bottles before disposal into sunglasses and reading glasses using special recycling technology.
The Boston-type frames launched at the initial release (per unit) are made from approximately two 500ml recycled PET bottles and weigh a mere 14 grams, making them ultra-lightweight. They have become popular for active pursuits.
The sunglasses released this time combine both photochromic and polarized functions. When worn indoors or at night, the lenses appear a light gray, allowing your eyes to be clearly seen.
Conversely, when worn outdoors or during the day, the lenses react to UV rays and darken to a deep gray. They also block excess light, making them useful for activities like running, fishing, and golf. The reasonable price is also a welcome feature.
