BLACK ROCK GLASS by Shotoku Glass × MADE BY SEVEN -REUSE-
Shotoku Glass, founded in 1922 and based in Sumida, Tokyo, has continued to manufacture glassware with a commitment to artisanal craftsmanship. STITCH JAPAN, which operates the interior shop Mid Century Modern in Daikanyama, has collaborated with its original brand MADE BY SEVEN -REUSE-.
The result is the "BLACK ROCK GLASS," a collaborative creation that is now available.

A masterpiece crafted by glass artisans.
Shotoku Glass, originally established as a factory for light bulb glass, is dedicated to artisanal production. They specialize in a range of glassware, including beer glasses, sake cups, wine glasses, and everyday tumblers, with a particular focus on unique and sophisticated glass tableware.
This collaboration has resulted in a double-named glass based on Shotoku Glass's "BLACK" series, which is particularly popular among overseas select shops and design professionals. The black glass in the "BLACK" series cools faster than transparent glass, making the blowing process extremely difficult and limiting the melting conditions in the kiln. This results in a highly premium finish.
The BLACK ROCK GLASS is characterized by a special masking process applied to the glass blown by Shotoku Glass artisans, followed by sandblasting using an airbrush to engrave the design, and finally, a coating finish.
The drip graphic is expressed through two textures: glossy and matte. It can be used not only as a rock glass but also as an everyday drinking glass.
