KING JIM has announced the "Tepra" Lite LR30GS, a new smartphone-only model in its global (multilingual) lineup of "Tepra" label writers. We explore its potential for simpler label creation by connecting to a dedicated iOS/Android app via Bluetooth.

Since its launch in 1988, the "Tepra" label writer has been a pioneer in Japanese label printing, widely used in offices and homes. This label writer, with its overwhelming track record in Japan, has likely been seen and used by many.

Meanwhile, overseas, KING JIM began full-scale deployment of the Chinese version "Tepra (贴普乐)" for the Chinese market in 2007. Since then, multiple English and Chinese versions have been released, all receiving favorable reviews in their respective regions.

The "Tepra" Lite LR30GS, a label printer from KING JIM launching this year, is a new addition to the lineup based on the "Tepra" Lite LR30, a smartphone-only model released in Japan in August 2019.

It connects to the dedicated iOS/Android app "TEPRA Lite" via Bluetooth® for easy label creation. The unit itself is compact, fitting in the palm of your hand, and runs on batteries, allowing for convenient use anywhere. Furthermore, the app allows for free adjustment of text and image sizes and placement, enabling users to customize labels to their liking.

It is compatible with a wide range of tapes, including "Tepra" Lite tapes, "Tepra" Lite masking tapes, and "Tepra" Lite film tapes. The demand for label writers overseas is expected to continue to grow.
