Opened in Toranomon in the autumn of 2013, theCURATOR'S CUBEis, as its name suggests, an exhibition space with curation at its core. For the First Time, a Selection Centered on "Material" Itself
This time, Playmountain has focused on "metal" as its chosen material. Works, products, and vintage items that have undergone various processes will be displayed together under a unique curation. While "CURATOR'S CUBE" has previously held exhibitions focusing on artists or designers, this marks the first time the focus is on a material. The curation extends beyond the artists typically handled in the store, transcending those boundaries.

It will be fascinating to see how Playmountain's buyers and staff arrange the diversity of metal within the space. The exhibition runs from Friday, February 28th to Sunday, March 16th. If you find yourself in the Toranomon area, be sure to stop by.
