The breath of handicraft, captured in a compact and multifunctional form | Royal Copenhagen
Royal Copenhagen
Minimalist decoration enhances both the cuisine and the diner.
Royal Copenhagen, Denmark's leading ceramics manufacturer, is releasing a new line, "BLUELINE," this spring. With its pared-down design, this tableware is not limited to a specific lifestyle and is perfect for a variety of settings.

As the name suggests, "BLUELINE" is characterized by a thin blue line on the rim. Each piece is hand-colored by a craftsman who then applies a logo stamp, resulting in a unique finish for every item.
The forms are an approach tailored to contemporary dining culture. Based on shapes referencing classic models, they are fused with modern coupe shapes. While minimalist in design, they possess a relaxed, gentle impression, characteristic of Danish design.
This spring, seven items are scheduled for release, including a pair of mugs, double-walled style cups, and user-friendly deep plates. Further releases, including Japan-exclusive products, are planned for after summer. The launch date is March 3, 2020.
