Blueair, a Swedish manufacturer specializing in air purifiers, is loved in over 60 countries worldwide. The brand has refreshed its flagship model of 25 years, releasing it as the new "Blueair Protect" on December 3rd. Here, we introduce this high-performance, advanced air purifier.

Designed for today's heightened need for infection control, the "Blueair Protect" is a premium model focusing on the elimination and inactivation of viruses and bacteria (※1). Three newly developed technologies—HEPASilent UltraTM, GermShieldTM, and SpiralAirTM—work in synergy to remove over 99% (※2) of ultrafine particles as small as 0.03μm, even finer than PM0.1.
It also suppresses the activity of viruses and bacteria that enter the filter and internal components (not guaranteeing the elimination or inactivation of all viruses and bacteria), while creating a circulating airflow from the outlet to purify an 8-tatami mat room in a remarkably fast 4 minutes (※3).
The interface features a 5-color LED status bar that visualizes air quality and displays the AQI (Air Quality Indicator) numerical value (excluding models 7710i and 7410i), showcasing its cutting-edge technology.
To meet a wide range of needs, from general residences to offices and commercial spaces, the "Blueair Protect" is available in two sizes: the "7700 Series" with an applicable floor area of up to 70 tatami mats (※4), and the "7400 Series" with an applicable floor area of up to 40 tatami mats (※4). Each series offers three models with different interface specifications, totaling six models.
