For over a century, Iittala has been dedicated to developing enduring designs. With "sustainability" at the core of its brand philosophy, the company has pursued beauty, high quality, and functionality that transcend time.
The collection being unveiled features the brand's iconic pieces reimagined in recycled glass. The Alva Aalto Collection's candleholder and vase, the Kastehelmi Series' tumbler and candleholder, and the Raami tumbler will each be released.
The colors vary depending on the recycled glass used, ranging from cool blues reminiscent of the sea to calming greens. Each piece has unique variations, and some may even show small air bubbles. Durability and quality are equivalent to standard products. It's fitting to appreciate each item as a singular creation.
The sticker on the product clearly states that it is made solely from glass waste from the company's own factory.
