Bang & Olufsen has collaborated with artist Daniel Arsham. The special 'Beoplay A9 Blue Moon,' featuring an impressive Blue Moon design, has been born. One unit will be released exclusively at Bang & Olufsen Ginza.

Daniel Arsham is a contemporary artist based in New York.

Arsham's artistic approach is based on the concept of fictional archaeology, a vision of how familiar icons of today might appear in the future.

From October 21, 2019, to January 5, 2020, he held the 'The House of Daniel Arsham' exhibition at the historic London department store Selfridges as part of the Future Fantasy Creative Campaign.

For this event, limited edition items and collaborations were created with his friends and collaborators, featuring a special application of his studio's signature color.

The 'Beoplay A9 Blue Moon' is one such creation. Taking inspiration from the iconic speaker's form, it quotes artwork from Arsham's own painting of a Blue Moon. The result is a special Beoplay A9 adorned with a beautiful Blue Moon.

The lunar imagery represents his fascination with space and the future, seamlessly integrated into the Beoplay A9's design. This model also features special white oak stands and a silver-toned aluminum ring with anodized finishing.

In Japan, it will be released as a limited edition of just one unit at Bang & Olufsen Ginza.
