"ciguë," an architectural design unit founded in 2003 by six classmates from the Villette School of Architecture in Paris. With the motto "We are artisans," they engage in a wide range of activities, from furniture production to art installations and architecture. Their "510" is a chair that has been modified from chairs used in French schools from around 1960-1990. Based on chairs from a factory that still continues production, they have applied a flash finish to the steel parts and used painted wood or leather for the seats.
