Rebranded with nendo
Terzo, a car carrier brand by automotive parts manufacturer PIAA Corporation, has celebrated its 30th anniversary with a complete overhaul of its brand symbol, logo, product packaging, and promotional materials. The entire creative direction was handled by design office nendo. To commemorate the renewal, Terzo is also launching the "symmetrick" roof box.

A Cute Roof Box for a New Era
In the 1980s, when the lifestyle of loading carriers onto wagons and SUVs to head to ski resorts or the sea drew envious glances, Terzo began supporting people who loved outdoor sports and cars. Today, as the brand has grown with products that pursue high levels of convenience, safety, and durability, the "symmetrick" roof box has been born to cater to a wide range of users and diverse outdoor scenes.
While conventional roof boxes have aimed to present "compatibility with the vehicle body" and create a "sleek look" by mimicking the car's form, "symmetrick" adopts a symmetrical design front, back, left, and right, fostering a sense of approachability and integration with the vehicle. Furthermore, its symmetry allows for flexible installation, enabling right-hand, left-hand, or user-preferred opening.
While outdoor lifestyles have traditionally carried an aggressive image, the new Terzo brand is characterized by a clean and approachable design, catering to those who prefer a "slow and organic lifestyle."
The product will be released in December. It is scheduled to be unveiled to the public for the first time at the design office nendo exhibition "blue rooms," held at Daikanyama T-SITE from October 23rd.
