Introducing the "JINCUP" wooden mug and café au lait bowl, a collaboration between fashion brand "Y's" and woodworker Akihiro Jin. Available from Friday, August 9th at all Y's stores nationwide.

Forms of Utmost Originality



The mug and café au lait bowl are crafted from Kagoshima-grown camphor wood, known for its dense grain, elegant color, and soft texture. The carefully lacquered interior creates a beautiful contrast with the wood grain, accentuating the unique forms.

The "JINCUP" is carved to fit comfortably in the hand. Its thin, smooth rim showcases the craftsmanship of its maker, while the distinctive octagonal form, a testament to furniture-making skills, offers both originality and functionality. The synergy between high technique and free imagination results in a mug that combines practicality with aesthetic beauty.

The café au lait bowl, designed to be held with both hands, features a rough-finished exterior that allows the user to feel the softness and warmth of the wood. The textured surface also provides a non-slip grip.
