Max Bill Poster Exhibition Held



The "Max Bill lithograph poster fair," showcasing rare lithograph posters designed by Max Bill—who studied at the Bauhaus and was instrumental in founding the Ulm School of Design—along with exhibition posters from across Europe in the 1970s and 80s, will be held at the custom furniture shop "BUILDING" from Saturday, June 8th to Sunday, June 23rd.

Rare lithograph posters, existing only in the number printed at the time, will be featured.

Painter, sculptor, graphic designer, architect, product designer, criticIt is not easy to summarize the achievements of Max Bill, a figure of many talents, in a single word. However, his work as a graphic artist undoubtedly provided a significant guiding principle for the field of graphic design that followed.

This poster exhibition will feature works such as an exhibition poster from the Erker Galerie in St. Gallen, Germany, held in 1971, a poster designed for the "Swiss Cultural Poster Exhibition" in Zurich, Switzerland, in 1974, and more recently, an exhibition poster from the MARTa Museum in Herford, Germany, held in 2008.

His graphics, which visualize mathematical thinking and completely exclude emotional expression, bring a pleasant tension to space and offer a clear state of mind. We want to find a piece that resonates with us instantly, through its visual appeal and preferred colors. A sales list is also available on the website below.
