The Compact, Lightweight, Stackable Atelier Chair
The "Atelier Chair" was designed for the newly established restaurant within Stockholm's National Museum. Its name, "Atelier," derives from the restaurant's dining hall concept, which was inspired by an artist's studio.
The design is by Stockholm-based Taf Studio. Taking inspiration from chairs designed in the early 20th century, they have created a familiar form with a clean silhouette and geometric lines, while also ensuring a comfortable seating experience. It is compact, lightweight, and stackable.
The National Museum incorporates the "now" of Nordic design within its facilities, and the selection of Taf Studio is part of this initiative. This chair is designed to adapt to any situation, from homes to workspaces and public spaces.
Available in three wood types: beech, ash, and oak. The beech is offered in four colors—natural, black, green, and dark red—while the ash and oak feature a natural lacquer finish that highlights the wood grain.
