“My World” by Philippe Starck & Cassina
The simple and practical sofa “My World,” born from the fusion of Philippe Starck's idea of resource conservation with Cassina's high quality and aesthetics, will be unveiled at Salone del Mobile 2013, held from Tuesday, April 9th.

Relaxing, conversing, eating, drinking, inviting, entertaining, loving, working, connecting──The system sofa “My World” by Philippe Starck and Cassina was created with the concept of allowing users, especially those who work from home, to use it freely for social, personal, and professional purposes.
Philippe Starck explains the concept: “Let’s assume we live in a fragmented society. My World is a cocoon, a nest, a place where one can be self-centered, where one can comfortably face oneself, and gather information from around the world that one judges to be true.”
My World, which includes two-seater, three-seater, armchairs, chaise longues, and ottomans with two large drawers, is composed of various parts, with tables on each side being independent.
The box-type cupboards are finished in oak, rosewood, or glossy colored lacquer, and the screen panels, available in oak, rosewood, leather, or wicker in two heights, clearly define the boundaries around the sofa.
