PAPIER LABO.'s original notebook, the TATAMI MODULE NOTEBOOK, is based on traditional Japanese tatami mat dimensions. Its size is one-tenth of a tatami mat, making it exceptionally portable and able to fit into the pockets of pants or jackets. In creating it, we aimed for a notebook that would become part of the user's memories, with the theme of "a roguish allure unlike that of a model student."

The cover is made from three types of paper: ribbed kraft paper used for packaging, recycled paper mixed with paper scraps, and European cloth. The inner pages have a rough texture. Through sophisticated and delicate printing and binding techniques, a unique notebook has been completed. We look forward to accumulating time together, always feeling its distinct allure.
