Easily Switch Functions by Turning the Lid

WMF is now releasing a new product, "Function 4," in Japan.


The biggest feature of "Function 4" is its lid. The red silicone ring on the lid has four different types of processing applied to it. As the name suggests, by aligning these with the pouring spout on the pot body, you can switch between four functions.

The four functions are: a "drain" function with small holes for draining rice and vegetables, a "strain" function with larger holes for draining pasta, a "pour" function for transferring soup without removing the lid, and a "seal" function to retain the flavor and moisture of ingredients. These are useful for everyday cooking.

This is an attractive point that makes you want to head to the kitchen just for this pot, or plan meals that fully utilize its functions.

The silicone ring is heat-resistant, ensuring safety during cooking. Its vibrant red color accents the glass lid and metal, and its attractive appearance makes you want to display it in your kitchen rather than store it away.

The metal parts of both the pot and lid are made from WMF's proprietary high-quality stainless steel material, "Cromargan®"
(Cromargan). It is durable, long-lasting, and resistant to scratches. The three-layer base structure (TransTherm®-universal base), which sandwiches aluminum between this Cromargan and stainless steel, ensures rapid heat conduction and excellent heat retention. It is also compatible with induction cooktops.

Furthermore, the handles are hollow inside, so they do not get hot. Features like the measurement markings on the inside of the pot demonstrate thoughtful, user-centric functional design in every detail.

The lineup includes a total of 10 types, varying in diameter, height, and shape. The wide selection allows you to choose the perfect pot to match your lifestyle and cooking style.
