Hans J. Wegner, known as the "master of chairs," is a representative Danish designer. His designs, which remain highly popular even after his passing, are considered a precious cultural heritage. April 2, 2018, marked Wegner's 104th birthday. To commemorate this, a special edition of his iconic "CH24 Wishbone Chair" was released.


The material is Ancient Oak. This is a rare bogwood, formed over many years and also known as Jindai wood, recreated in oak using the latest processing and dyeing techniques. The combination of a unique, deep dark brown frame and a natural paper cord seat retains the masterpiece's presence while imprinting a new image upon the viewer.

A brass plaque indicating its special edition status is affixed to the crossbar. This is a limited release of 500 chairs.
