At the 'Tokyo Toy Show 2017' held in June, long queues formed at booths featuring hand spinners, leading to a surge of manufacturers, not just from the toy industry but also from other sectors, entering the market for their production and sale.

While hand spinners quickly gained widespread recognition and popularity, the market has also become flooded with numerous low-quality, inexpensive imitations. To counter this, Gymnopédie partnered with traditional Japanese workshops, renowned for leading the nation's manufacturing, to establish the hand spinner brand 'SPIN MANIA,' aiming to achieve high-quality domestic production.

Furthermore, at the '84th Tokyo International Gift Show Autumn 2017' held at Tokyo Big Sight in September, a limited preview was conducted in collaboration with the Japan Hand Spinner Club. Following the enthusiastic response, a general release has finally been decided.


The first release is the 'Spin GOD,' made entirely of pure 24K gold except for the grip. Its design mimics an ingot, making it indistinguishable as a hand spinner until held.

Crafted with Japanese bearings and grips, meticulously designed and precisely assembled in Japan, it achieves a spin time exceeding five minutes. The substantial feel of gold, combined with its exceptionally smooth rotation, offers a profound satisfaction unlike any other hand spinner.

Custom orders are available starting from a weight of 300g, with varying sizes and prices. Additionally, 3% of the profits from 'Spin GOD' will be donated to support organizations for myasthenia gravis. As gold prices continue to trend upward, this product also holds value as an investment or asset.
