Skitter, dog socks designed to protect a dog's paws from injuries and more. Developed under veterinary supervision, they are designed to be comfortable for dogs. They are also useful for preventing wound licking and for warmth.

Mitigating the Risks to Your Dog's Paws That Owners May Not Notice
The dog socks "Skitter" are the first original product developed by "docdog," a specialist boutique for dog shoes and socks.
Dog shoes and socks protect paws from external injuries and help prevent accidents. While it might seem that dogs, having evolved for wild living, have no need for paw protection due to their tough pads and limbs, the modern environment, filled with artificial objects, presents various dangers unlike those found in nature.
The risks of injury are high, including burns from hot asphalt and dislocations or fractures from walking on slippery indoor flooring.
Under veterinary supervision, "Skitter" socks were developed with the dog's skeletal structure in mind, making them stretchy and resistant to slipping off. They feature silicone grips, with additional grips on the top of the paw to ensure stability even if the sock rotates.
The design loosely accommodates the main joint areas while tightening the sections before and after, ensuring they stay on even during vigorous activity. Beyond protection from external injuries, they are also effective at preventing wound licking and keeping paws warm.
A veterinarian involved in the development stated, "As dogs age, their hindquarters weaken, making it difficult for them to maintain balance. Furthermore, there are situations where socks can be beneficial due to the need for limb protection from various illnesses or surgeries, or when reduced stamina makes thermoregulation challenging. We wanted to create a product that owners could try with confidence and ease, which led to this development."
